1. We recommend that you lay out the panels and brackets as pictured to get familiar with where each piece will be installed. The following steps will refer to this image as a key for part names.
2. We start with the master cylinder side. You will loosen this 12MM nut just enough so that you can slide in the master cylinder bracket. Repeat this step with the second bolt on the other side.
3. Slide in the master cylinder bracket, then finger tighten both nuts allowing for height adjustment. The orientation is as pictured.
4. Remove the middle fender bolt. Slide in the middle fender bracket as pictured. Reinstall the OEM bolt to hold the bracket in place. Finger tighten to allow for final adjustments.
5. Locate this frame rail hole. This will be the location for the frame rail bracket. Install the bracket in the orientation as pictured.
6. Place the master cylinder cover panel on top of the brackets. Align the brackets to the holes and finger tighten the Allen screws. At this stage, ensure the alignment is proper by adjusting bracket height and left to right panel fitment. Once the proper fitment is achieved, tighten down all hardware. This completes the driver's side panel.
7. We move on to the passenger side battery cover panel. You will reuse the 10MM OEM bolt that is holding in the washer fluid bottle. Remove the bolt and install the single hardware bracket here. Leave slightly loose for final adjustment.
8. The location for the U-nut can be seen in the picture below.
9. At this step, we recommend putting masking tape around the oval and circular hole to prevent scratching. Notice the orientation and angle of the U-nut. Once you have it set like this, give it a firm push and it will pop into place. The circular holes need to be aligned in order to allow for the Allen screw to be installed.
10. Test fit the Allen screw to ensure this bolt can be threaded through. This will help confirm proper alignment.
11. Install the U-nut bracket. Leave the Allen screw loose for final adjustment.
12. Attach the heat shield brackets to the passenger side panel loosely. Lay the panel in place; this will help determine where to mark and drill the holes on the OEM heat shield. Once you have aligned everything, mark the hole and drill. Then attach the heat shield bracket to the OEM heat shield as pictured.
13. Repeat step 12 for the back heat shield bracket.
14. Place the passenger battery cover panel on top of the brackets. Align the brackets to the holes and finger tighten the Allen screws. At this stage, ensure alignment is proper by adjusting bracket height and left to right panel fitment. Once the proper fitment is achieved, tighten down all hardware. This completes the passenger side battery panel.
